The ceremony was held outside the outmoded and seismically unsafe mental health center at the VA’s Palo Alto campus.
Geo Group Expands Operations with Just Care Inc. Acquisition
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Private prison operator GEO Group, announced a $40 million deal to expand its healthcare operations through the purchase South Carolina-based provider of detention healthcare Just Care Inc.
GEO Group expects the acquisition to add $30 million in revenue and 4 cents to annual profit per share.

Illinois Provider Settles into New Tower
JOLIET, Ill. ― Healthcare officials at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center are settling into a new $144 million, eight-story patient bed tower that opened recently.
The 256,000-square-foot tower marks the first major expansion at the medical center in more than 40 years.
