MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—SWENSON, a leading Northern California real estate development company, announced it has started construction on a new memory care facility located at 855 West El Camino Real in Mountain View. Plans for the 50,211 square foot property include a three-story, mixed-use building which will offer two stories of senior memory care above a new, street-level Italian restaurant.
Operated by Calson Management, the memory care facility will include 54 units and 60 beds with 24-hour trained care and staff. It will also feature communal spaces, a dining room, and activity room on each floor, as well as a salon, patios, and a bike room. Plus, in a unique twist, the restaurant on the first floor will double as a food kitchen, providing fresh, delicious meals to the residents.
“Our team is highly experienced in constructing senior living facilities in the Bay Area. We look forward to a successful build in collaboration with a great client, while helping to fill the growing need for quality senior living in our area,” said SWENSON Chief Operating Officer Summer Ludwick.
This project is expected to reach completion in early 2024.
