Carol Karasek
International architecture firm Francis Cauffman, with offices in New York, announced that Carol Karasek, AIA, has been appointed principal of the Science and Technology group. Karasek is a practice leader with 35 years of experience in the programming, design and delivery of research and clinical facilities. Her specialty is the design of academic medical centers engaged in translational research.

RED BANK, N.J. — Riverview Medical Center broke ground in July 2015 for its new cancer center, an expansion and renovation project that will help bring enhanced cancer services to patients in Red Bank.
CRYSTAL CITY, Mo. — Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City recently broke ground on a $135 million expansion. The project will add a three-story patient tower, a new front entrance and a variety of other enhancements to improve the experience for patients, staff and visitors.
