Laundry Cart

Regulated medical waste carts from laundry product manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne (MOD) meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance for transporting hospital linens and other textiles that may be contaminated with the Ebola virus. As specified in the CDC’s Interim Guidance for Environmental Infection Control in Hospitals for Ebola Virus, the company’s Poly-Trux 70P and 72P biohazard carts provide rigid, leak-proof containment for bagged medical waste inside a durable, plastic design that may be locked to prevent access. The laundry carts are rotationally molded in a single, continuous piece from 100 percent waterproof, chemical-resistant polyethylene and can handle repeated cleaning in automated cart washers and/or with a variety of chemical-cleaning agents. The carts come with orange and black warning placards riveted to the front and back to alert staffers to the presence of potentially contaminated laundry.
