With more than 28 years of experience in hospital, health plan, and health care consulting, James B. Bross will assume the roles of president and chief executive officer, serving Mission Health, in affiliation with Angel Medical Center. Coming from Applied Revenue Analytics in Temple, Texas, he previously served as senior director of client services and led business development strategies specializing in improving hospitals with financial analytics. Prior to that, he was also the vice president and chief financial officer for 17 years at Rutherford Hospital in Rutherfordton, N.C. He was later appointed Rutherford’s vice president of operations. Bross earned his B.A. in accounting, business administration and psychology from Southern Wesleyan University. Later, he earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Citadel in Charleston, S.C. He is an American College of Health Care Executives Member and an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
