Mario Vieira

Shepley Bulfinch recently hired health care planning and design leader Mario Vieira as a principal at the firm. With 25 years of experience as a healthcare architect, Vieira has worked with community hospital clients throughout the East Coast. His assignments included a master plan and award-winning patient care tower for Cape Cod Hospital, inpatient and ambulatory projects for Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, and the Southcoast Hospitals Group. Vieira recently led the planning and design of a series of hospitals in Papua New Guinea. Additionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, and the New England Society for Healthcare Strategy. Vieira holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College and serves as a registered architect in Massachusetts.
