Premier Alliance Renews Three-Year KI Contract
GREEN BAY, Wis. — KI, a Green Bay, Wis.-based furniture supplier, entered a three-year contract with the Premier health care alliance to supply furniture to its group of more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals and 77,000 other health care sites.
The contract begins Jan. 1, 2012.
The new contract begins Jan. 1, 2012 and follows a three-year contract awarded in 2008, after an extensive review process against a wide range of criteria, according to KI. Premier evaluated companies based on expertise and experience in the health care field, along with their breadth and depth of product offerings.
“Consideration was also given to companies that demonstrated an innovative approach to developing custom products, an emphasis on ergonomic solutions, and a series of financial and nonfinancial value-added services,” KI officials said.
KI’s offerings in the healthcare market include patient seating, recliners and gliders, bariatric seating, sleepover seating, tables and lobby seating, among others.
“As a leading supplier of healthcare furniture solutions to the healthcare market, we’re honored to continue our partnership with Premier and provide value to their members,” said Debbie Breunig, vice president of healthcare for KI. “Our goal is to provide healthcare furniture that meets the needs of their patients, families and staff, and we look forward to strengthening our successful partnership together.”
