CDCR Issues RFQ for $600 Million Prison Hospital
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — State officials issued a request for qualifications for the design and construction of the planned 1.2 million-square-foot corrections department medical complex in Stockton.
The proposed California Health Care Facility, which will house and treat 1,722 male inmate-patients with serious or chronic medical and mental health conditions, has a construction budget of $600 million, according to the notice issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
