Magnet Detection System

ETS-Lindgren introduces the Ferroguard, a portable alarm system that helps detect and alert personnel before an object of ferrous metal enters an MRI room. It aids in the prevention of patient injury and equipment damage.

The system can be customized to detect specific hazards, such as ferromagnetic gas cylinders, or to have increased sensitivity. It does not interfere with electronic medical equipment, and it allows harmless, non-ferromagnetic objects to pass through, reducing false alarms. Ferroguard can be used in hospitals, clinics, research labs and MRI instrument manufacturing facilities, and allows for custom installations for all architectural site conditions.
