Spellman Brady & Company announced the promotions of Melissa Keeney and Alicia Nicolay to the directors of the company’s Senior Living design department. They will share corporate responsibilities that include leading the firm’s team of designers on Senior Living projects. Keeney is a certified interior designer by the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) and a LEED-accredited professional. She has 15 years of interior architectural design experience, including work in the furniture and furnishings industry. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Maryville University and is active in IIDA. Nicolay, also a certified interior designer by NCIDQ, has 18 years of experience. Her interior architectural design, furniture and furnishings knowledge combined with her experience in the hospitality market result in Senior Living projects tailored to the needs of residents, staff and guests. Nicolay received her associate’s degree in fine arts from Stevens College and St. Louis Community College.
