Datalogic introduced the QuickScan QBT2400 and QM2400 cordless imagers to the QuickScan 2D imager line of general-purpose handheld scanners. These imagers offer high speed and accuracy while reading 1D codes, various 2D codes and stacked codes such as the PDF417. Wireless mobility helps the operator roam at the point of sale. The QuickScan QBT2400 2D imager employs Bluetooth, allowing transmission of data to the host through its base station, as well as to any commercial or embedded Bluetooth v3.0 device. The design of the QuickScan imager’s illumination and aiming system, consisting of the combination of two blue LED targeting triangles with a dark red illumination, results in reduced operator visual stress during daily scanning activities. Datalogic ADC’s range includes in-counter and on-counter point of sale scanners, general purpose and ruggedized handheld scanners, rugged mobile computers, industrial PDAs and vehicle mount computers.
