Panasonic’s latest addition to its line of health care display and monitor solutions, the EJ-MDA32AU-K screen, is specifically designed for surgeries. This 3-D medical-grade 32-inch class monitor is fully compliant with medical equipment standards and delivers exceptional 2-D and 3-D image quality, according to the company. With Xpol circular polarizing technology, the system can maintain image stereoscopic effects even when tilted so all viewers can watch the same display quality. For increased flexibility, the device also supports multiple 3-D formats. The monitor allows for up to three images, each from separate sources, to be displayed simultaneously on one screen. This enables the audience to view surgical procedures, radiological images and vital signs all together and reduces clutter and cabling in the surgical suite, according to the company. The system’s IPS-pro panel technology provides vibrant color and produces natural full HD images with more than 2 million pixels, according to the company.
