Jason Freeland

Jason Freeland was promoted to vice president at Heery International, where he will serve as the director of the company’s health facilities design studio in Atlanta. In this role, Freeland will be responsible for strategic direction, marketing and operations for all of the studio’s health care projects.

Freeland has more than 12 years of experience in designing health care facilities, with a focus on acute care hospitals, ambulatory care centers and wellness campus master planning. Some of his projects include a major replacement hospital master plan and concept design in Kaiserslautern, Germany, a 1.5-million-square-foot wellness campus and acute care hospital in Moreno Valley, California, and a 315-bed inpatient tower addition in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A registered architect in Georgia and Tennessee, Freeland received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing an MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED-accredited professional, and a certified member of the American College of Healthcare Architects.
