Triatek, a manufacturer of airflow, lighting and HVAC Control products, has introduced the FMS1650-Lite room pressure monitor, specifically designed for hospitals. The unit utilizes full color and a programmable touch screen to provide “at a glance” information quickly and easily. The colored background communicates the overall state and whether the space being monitored is safe for use. Safety is further ensured via the sensitive sensors, used by each system. The FMS1650 measures to 0.0001” WC and is accurate to within +/- 0.5 percent of full span, according to the company. If the unit falls outside allowable limits, a visual and audible alarm alerts users. It is offered as either a surface mounted or stainless steel mounted unit.
