Curtainwalls by architectural aluminum products manufacturer Kawneer Co. recently helped a major sports arena achieve LEED Gold certification. The company’s 1600 Wall System 1 was used to provide natural light into the downtown-facing side of the 735,000-square-foot Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., home of the Pittsburgh Penguins professional hockey team.
