KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Architectural and engineering firm TowerPinkster was selected as the best mid-size firm to work for by managing consultant and research firm ZweigWhite and engineering media specialists Stagnito Media.
The two organizations selected TowerPinkster as part of their annual ranking of top industry firms.

Caterpillar Inc. today announced sales and revenues of $32.396 billion for 2009, a decrease of 37 percent from $51.324 billion in 2008. Â Profit per share was $1.43, down 75 percent. Â Excluding redundancy costs of $0.75, 2009 profit was $2.18 per share.
Green Globe Certification Awarded to 15 VA Medical Centers (BuildingOnline)
WASHINGTON The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced 15 of its medical centers have been cited by the Green Building Initiative for their efforts to achieve sustainable energy.

Waterless Urinal
The F-9000SS waterfree urinal from Falcon Waterfree Technologies saves approximately 40,000 gallons of water per year. The bowl is constructed of grade 304, 16-gauge stainless steel with a matte finish. It includes a patented cartridge with biodegradable sealant, which acts as a barrier against bacteria and odors.
The no-flush mechanism eliminates valve maintenance and water use costs. The urinal includes all installation hardware and an instructional DVD.
