New, from GE’s Security business, SymSecure is digital video management software that allows for management, configuration and control of video security from any location.


The system uses IP-networking technology and works with GE’s SymSuite MPEG-4 digital video products, which allow users to continue using in-place analog equipment within an IP environment.


During installation, the system automatically detects cameras on the network and lets users instantly control them with simple configuration, according to the manufacturer.
