Root Control System

The Biobarrier root control system is a geotextile designed to inhibit root growth through the slow release of trifluralin. The nonsystemic herbicide creates a vapor zone that prevents root-tip cell division and stimulates roots to grow away from the trifluralin zone.

The membrane is porous to water and nutrients and does not disturb soil hydrology. It is available in 20-foot and 100-foot rolls with widths of 12 inches, 19.5 inches, 24 inches, 29 inches, 39 inches and 58.5 inches.
