Ryan Companies US Inc. announced that Connor T. Lewis has been hired as vice president of development for the company’s health care sector in the southeast region. In his new position, Connor works closely with health systems, physician groups and other health care providers across the nation facilitating their growth strategies through strategic real estate acquisitions, development and construction.

HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has hired Michael Kennedy, AIA, LEED AP, as associate vice president and senior project designer for the health care practice group in Minneapolis. He will lead design and planning efforts and collaborate in new business development. Kennedy has more than 25 years of design leadership experience, directing project teams through all phases of master planning and design for national and international health care projects.
Heery International has named John Stone, AIA, vice president and southeast health care director for Heery Design. Stone will oversee business development and design projects for Heery’s work with hospitals and other health care facilities from North Carolina to Texas. Stone joins Heery from Flad Architects where he was principal-in-charge and southeast health care leader.
Array Architects has announced that senior interior designer Laura Morris, AAHID, LEED AP BD+C, IIDA, Lean Green Belt, is a principal and shareholder in the firm. Laura joined Array in 2012 and brings two decades of collaborative health care design expertise. Morris is providing design guidance to leading health care systems throughout the nation.
James Kendrick, AIA, has joined FKP Architects as vice president and senior project manager for the health care sector. Kendrick is responsible for project leadership, strategic client relationship development and overseeing adherence to health care design best practices. His 27-year career has focused on health facility planning, design and operations. Kendrick will step into the project manager role for Parkland Hospital in Dallas, which is currently in design.
Dewberry has hired Megan Sterl as a senior project manager for the newly formed energy solutions group at the firm’s Denver office. There, she will be responsible for overseeing the execution of large retro-commissioning projects across the country. Sterl has more than seven years of experience in energy solutions services, including energy audits and mechanical system design projects, concentrating on existing building retro-commissioning.
Penny Busch has joined CBRE Healthcare as a principal consultant in Dallas. Busch has more than 15 years of experience in the health care and commercial industry and has knowledge related to project scheduling, budgeting and procurement. Prior to joining CBRE Healthcare, Busch served as a senior program manager at Parkland Health & Hospital System. She holds a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.
