Sarah Brownell was recently named National Health Market Strategist for CannonDesign. Brownell brings more than 20 years of experience from the healthcare industry to the firm, and was most recently the Director of Strategic Growth and a member of the Global Practice Leadership Team at HDR.
In her new role, Brownell is part of CannonDesign’s Health Practice’s Leadership Team, responsible for enacting the practice’s strategic vision, working towards growth, market expansion and brand elevation. She will also work closely with Health Practice leaders across CannonDesign offices on key opportunities and client growth.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brownell excels at crafting comprehensive and impactful growth strategies. She has spent years building and guiding teams to develop effective strategic strategies, pursuits and business plans for healthcare organizations. In addition to her decade of work at HDR, she also held strategy and business development positions at Ernst & Young.
