Ryan Sawall

McCarthy Buildings Companies Inc. recently promoted Ryan Sawall, based in the firm’s St. Louis office, to chief operating officer of the U.S.  central region after nearly two decades in the company. 

Previously, Sawall served in field operations roles before moving onto various leadership positions, where he dedicated himself to enhancing McCarthy’s construction practices. With experience in a variety of market sectors, from healthcare to commercial, Sawall will organize and strategize McCarthy’s presence in the region to ensure company success and impactful solutions. Sawall is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE), a Certified Health Care Constructor (CHC), a TAB Certified Professional and a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and has previously served on the board of the Nebraska Society of Healthcare Engineers.
