Rühe is a minimalist, understated, multi-range series that suits a range of settings, such as waiting areas. Imagined by industrial designer Mike Shields, the Rühe family comprises guest, patient, and tandem seating as well as a lounge and tables. Thoughtfully crafted to evoke a home-like feel that is calming and comforting, its carefully selected design elements promote health and cleanability while offering superior durability and support for users.
Soft cleanouts between seats and backs are featured on all models to provide ease of cleaning. The double and triple guest configurations can be specified with intervening legs, intervening arms, or no intervening arms, allowing for efficient floor cleaning between units. Rühe’s soft and residential ambiance adds levity to any space, while its light scale, modest design, and multiple seat sizes allow it to fit well with a variety of other products or environments.
