KEARNEY, Neb. — A $40 million hospital expansion is halfway complete at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. The 80,000-square-foot expansion will include a number of new features like an emergency department, a maternity services center and more space for intensive care facilities.
Walter Vernon, CEO of Mazzetti and vice president of IFMA HealthCare Institute (HCI), has been appointed to the Executive Council of the International Federation of Hospital Engineering Council (IFHE). HCI represents the United States in IFHE, a nonprofit organization committed to exchanging international information on health care facility design, construction, engineering, commissioning, maintenance and estate management.
