Columbus Regional Hospital Creates Efficient Emergency Department
COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus Regional Hospital is creating an emergency department that will not only focus on expanding and updating the facility, but also wayfinding for patients and staff. Although the emergency room will be much larger than its predecessor, the number of footsteps patients will have to take to get treatment will be fewer and more private, according to The Republic.


Los Angeles-based, CO Architects promoted Gina Chang, AIA from senior associate to associate principal. Chang joined the firm in 2007 and has more than 15 years of experience in architecture working as a project manager, health care architect and medical planner, and she has worked with many large teams on complex projects. Chang received a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and is certified in evidence-based design.
