Washington Hospital Breaks Ground on Critical Care Pavilion
FREMONT, Calif. — Washington Hospital in Fremont broke ground Feb. 24 on its $339 million Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion, a new emergency and critical care facility.
Construction of the facility is the largest public works project in the history of Washington Township Health Care District.


FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado State University (CSU) will move forward with plans to build a $59 million on-campus medical center.
HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) of Minneapolis announced that its board of directors unanimously named Tim Carl, FAIA, as the firm’s new CEO. Carl’s appointment is the culmination of a 16-month long leadership transition. He succeeds Dan Avchen, FAIA, who served as HGA’s CEO since 1996. Carl has been with HGA for 17 years and most recently held the title of design principal, working with teams in each HGA office.
