The bed and chair fall alarms are part of Hygia’s essential clinical commodities (ECCs) and are FDA-approved. The company cleans, tests, disinfects and repackages items using FDA-approved processes to provide hospital products such as cerebral-somatic sensors, blood pressure cuffs, SCD/DVT sleeves, pulse ox sensors, ECG leads, pneumatic tourniquets, infusor bags, splints, masks and now bed alarms.

The American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) has announced that Ian C. Sinnett, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, vice president/regional leader of health care for HOK, has earned his board certificate in health care architecture. Sinnett recently passed an accreditation examination, which assesses the knowledge and understanding of architects who practice as health care specialists. He joins the ranks of more than 400 ACHA colleagues in the U.S.
