COUER D’ALENE, Idaho — To keep up with a growing number of patients, Kootenai Health announced last week that it will expand its hospital with a $57 million, three-story addition and construct a new main hospital entryway.
The addition, which will break ground in either late summer or early fall, will increase patient beds by 10 percent and create much needed space. A recent facility assessment demonstrated a need for approximately 20 percent more space on the health care campus, according to Jon Ness, CEO of Kootenai Health.
