CS Medical LLC recently released their newest product for probe storage. The CleanShield Endoscope Storage Cabinet was built to store fragile disinfected endoscopes and includes a designated storage area that helps prevent damage and contamination. The storage unit’s polypropylene structure is thermally fused, is easily disinfected and is non-hygroscopic, according to the company. The interior of the unit features designated hanging mounts for up to nine disinfected endoscope probes. The mounts allow the probes to hang vertically in the unit’s filtered air. The exterior of the cabinet features a locked steel door coated with epoxy. CleanShield meets the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates’ recommendations for disinfected endoscope storage.
