Security Information Systems Inc., part of Honeywell’s Life Safety Group, offers new fire alarm control monitoring software that incorporates Fire-Lite’s panels, IPDACT Internet communicator and VisorAlarm IP receiver.


The system allows facility owners, security personnel and third parties to monitor several fire alarm panels from a UL-listed computer. It allows messages to be sent to multiple users via e-mail, text message, PC, cell phone or PDA.

Cannon Hygiene USA released a new hygienic hand dryer. The Dyson Airblade dries hands in 12 seconds while using 80 percent less energy than conventional hand dryers, according to the company. It also delivers cost savings close to 98 percent compared to paper towels, and is HEPA filtered to remove bacteria from the air.


The dryer is endorsed by the British Skin Foundation and the Royal Institute of Public Health, and it is certified by NSF International.

EPS Inc. expanded its line of resealable, leak-resistant bags with EPS Lab Guard Specimen Bags. The bags meet the National Committee of Clinical Laboratory Standard’s requirements to reduce the risk of spills and leaks. They feature a document pouch that allows the specimen and paperwork to be kept together, reducing the risk of contamination and clerical errors.

Bobcat introduced a line of nine compact tractors, five are available now and four other models will be available before 2009. The tractors feature four-wheel drive, hydrostatic transmission and can be used with other Bobcat components such as an angle blade, finish mower, seeder and more. The design provides comfort and safety features including a spark arrestor muffler, steel panels and a rollover protective structure. Each model has different engine strengths, ranging from 20 horsepower to 34 horsepower.
