Jack Monroe
Healthcare architect and industry veteran Jack Monroe AIA, NCARB, EDAC has joined Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC), establishing the architecture and engineering firm’s presence in Orlando. As the firm’s Orlando Healthcare Practice Leader, Monroe will leverage his decades of healthcare design experience and relationships within the market to serve clients throughout Orlando and the surrounding areas.
With 20-plus years of experience, Monroe has worked on projects for some of the largest healthcare systems in Orlando and throughout the Southeast. He has experience designing outpatient clinics, pediatric facilities, cancer centers, hospitals and more. Monroe is known for his outstanding design and project management performance with a passion for evidence-based and sustainable design. He is focused on healthcare for lifestyle, wellness and sustainability resulting in an improved quality of life for individuals, the community and the environment.
“I am excited to be joining GMC and expanding our presence in Florida,” said Monroe. “For over two decades, I have been focused exclusively on healthcare projects, and I am honored to continue to support the health of the Central Florida community I call home.”
GMC first expanded into Florida more than a decade ago. The firm has experienced exponential growth within the state in the last five years, now having offices in the Tampa Bay Area, Sarasota and Pensacola. The focus in Orlando will initially center on healthcare architecture.
