Taylor Design, an employee-owned architecture, interior design and design strategy firm, is expanding its Los Angeles presence and has hired leading healthcare design professional Daniel Ortega, AIA, to head the new downtown LA office.
Ortega is a veteran Healthcare Market Sector leader in Los Angeles, with a career that includes more than 30 years of experience working with the California Office of Statewide Healthcare Planning and Development (OSHPD). He brings a background in design coupled with an in-depth knowledge of project management and advanced team-building skills, a combination that meshes perfectly with Taylor Design’s approach to project delivery. Ortega’s experience encompasses a wide variety of healthcare project types, including medical center master planning, assisted living, acute care facility remodels, medical education and conference centers, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics and surgery centers, and laboratories. He is the rare professional who can effectively lead a project, while also staying closely involved in its progress to help ensure a successful outcome for the client.
