Parkland SICU Takes Part in ICU After-Care Initiative
DALLAS — The Parkland Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is taking part in a new quality-improvement project called ICU Liberation, in hopes of improving the effects that intensive-care patients face after being released from the hospital.
Greenville Health System Provides SmartExam Telecare
GREENVILLE, S.C. — The patients of Greenville Health System are now able to access care via computer, smartphone or tablet this month as the health system rolls out its new telecare system. The system not only allows patients access to their information, but it also allows patients with minor illnesses such as bladder infections, sore throats, ear pain or sinus infections to be examined through SmartExam, the hospital’s telemedicine portal.

Armstrong Flooring offers Migrations BBT Bio-flooring, made with Bio-Stride polymer. The product is made with rapidly renewable resources and provides enhanced performance over composition tile. The tile is available in 28 different colors allowing for different visual designs. The product has five times greater resistance to impact and more than 2.5 times greater resistance to cracking than standard tile. It comes in a 12-inch by 12-inch format in the Migrations line, and 12-inch by 24-inch in the Striations line.
