Mark Sanborn is the new vice president and regional director for Suffolk Construction. In his new position, Sanborn will be responsible for expanding the firm’s market sector, servicing clients in the health care, science-technology, and higher education sectors throughout New York. The company’s new office in Tarrytown will serve as a base of operations for Sanborn and his team of project managers, superintendents and engineers.
Sanborn has more than 32 years of experience managing companies, project teams and new ventures. Prior to Suffolk, he was a leader for the New York-based health care and life science division for general contractor Structure Tone. He also held leadership positions with contractors Skanska USA Building Inc. and Lehrer McGovern Bovis, as well as worked as a project manager for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
