International architectural firm Cannon Design hired Kevin A. Spady, AIA, LEED AP, as principal. Spady has more than 30 years of architectural experience with an emphasis in healthcare.

Taylor, a healthcare architectural firm based in Newport Beach, Calif., promoted children’s practice leader Alyssa Scholz, Assoc. AIA, to senior associate. Scholz has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare design, planning and research for several healing environment types.

Spady	Dal Collo	Conrad	Papillon	Iddings

Merrocl & Company, a Colorado-based architectural and engineering firm, hired Glenn Dal Collo as commissioning field coordinator for its life sciences facilities commissioning service. Dal Collo’s first assignment is coordinating commissioning activities for the $500 million U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases replacement project in Frederick, Md.

Tishman Construction Corp., a New York-based construction company, hired Peter Marchetto as president of construction operations. He has more than 25 years of experience in several markets.

Steve Oakley joined New York architectural and design firm Stonehill & Taylor Architects as associate principal. Oakley has experience in programming, planning and designing for science and technology facilities.

Agus Rusli, AIA, LEED AP, joined Perkins+Will as director of design and associate principal. He will lead design efforts in the Dallas and Houston offices. He previously led his own firm, Rusli Associates, in Pittsburgh.

Leo A Daly, an international architecture, planning and engineering firm, hired Jennifer Conrad as director of business development. She has more than 17 years of experience and will be responsible for maintaining and establishing client relationships for healthcare projects.
In other news, the firm hired Mark R. Griffith, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, as vice president and managing principal for its Los Angeles office. He previously served as managing principal for the firm’s Las Vegas office.

Projects and Construction Services Inc., a construction management firm based in Cleveland, added Matt A. Ambrose to its construction management staff. Ambrose has more than 19 years of management experience in the construction industry.

Yost Grube Hall Architecture hired Richard Grace, AIA, as a project designer and Katrina Williams as human resources generalist. Grace rejoins the firm after three years with Fletcher Farr Ayotte and has 13 years of experience designing institutional, commercial and mixed-use development projects. Williams has 10 years of experience in human resources, sales and accounting.

Bossardt Corp., a Minnesota-based construction management firm, announced that Greg Franzen, director of business development; Mark Hovelson, project executive; and Shane Butler, project coordinator, received LEED AP accreditation.

MANUFACTURERS

Marc Papillon was named technical services manager for the eastern region at Gerflor, a manufacturer of vinyl resilient floor coverings. Papillon has worked in the flooring industry since 1971 and most recently served as technical manager at Mondo America and Mapei.

Keith Gray was named director of technical marketing at Mohawk Group, a Georgia-based manufacturer of commercial carpeting. He will focus on the healthcare and education markets with the goal of expanding the company’s expertise in evidence-based research and design for all institutional market segments.

Haws Corp., a manufacturer of drinking fountains and emergency equipment for several industries, promoted Margo Mee to product manager. Mee, who is based in the Sparks, Nev., office, has worked with the company for 12 years.

High Concrete Group LLC, a manufacturer architectural facades and a variety of precast structures, named Kevin Iddings general manager of Midwest operations. He will be responsible for profit and loss accountability for the company’s Springboro, Ohio, and Paxton, Ill., plants.

ORGANIZATIONS

The U.S. Green Building Council named Christopher Pyke research director. He previously worked for CTG Energetics of Irvine, Calif. Pyke has worked with the USGBC in the past, contributing technical support during the development of LEED v3.

Edward G. Chadwick was selected as executive vice president for finance and chief financial officer of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, a new position created as part of a reorganization at the medical center. Chadwick has 30 years of experience and is considered a national leader in healthcare finance, with specific expertise in systems integration, treasury management and strategic financial planning, according to the medical center.
