Chemical Leak Detector

RAE Systems offers ppbRAE 3000, a sensor that remotely identifies chemical leaks. The device is specifically designed to measure hydrocarbon-based chemical leaks but can also detect about 100 other types of chemical leaks, according to the company. Measurement data is transmitted every three minutes in up to 12 languages over a wireless connection. The system is ideal for monitoring systems from a remote location.

The product features a built-in flashlight and is water resistant. It has a back-lit graphical display with graphical charting capabilities. It comes with a battery charger and lithium rechargeable battery. Optional features include charging cradles with a computer interface for downloading up to six months of data, Bluetooth interface and wireless modem with a 160-meter range.
