The ready-mix product is suited for all types of remodeling products. It weighs up to 35 percent less than conventional compounds, making handling, application and sanding more effective. In addition, the material’s low shrinkage, excellent adhesion and resistance to cracks enable users to apply just two coats of compound when covering metal surfaces, such as corner beads and fasteners.
