The Micron 400 and 800, from Biological Controls, are designed specifically for health care settings. The patented mobile hospital air purification systems remove airborne contaminants using a high-capacity system that removes hazardous microbial airborne particulate and airborne pathogens contained in airborne diseases, reducing the risk of inhalation and airborne infection transmission.

As with all of the company’s HEPA filter units, they comply with CDC guidelines and they are FDA 510 certified. The manufacturer says that the filters, with their 360 degree air intake and exhausts with high air charge capacity, remove 99.99 percent of particulate 0.3 microns in diameter.
