RF Technologies, a safety and asset protection product provider, announces the release of the PinPoint 721 locator tag. The 721 locator tag is a 5.8 GHz tag that can be read by the PinPoint system at distances up to 400 feet with an accuracy of 10 feet.
Some 721 locator tag features include a permanent 32-bit serial number and a battery life over five years. The 721 contains an on-board motion detection system as well as a new safety feature to detect tampering. The 721 tag is small and allows for remote programming, making the system easy to use, the company reports. The 721 locator tag is designed as an addition to any real-time location system (RTLS).
